History:
007014-CCR was first seen in a brochure which was printed in February 2004. Therefore 007014-CCR should have been completed latest in January 2004 in order to meet the date for the photo shooting. In his early existence it is said that 007014-CCR was a test vehicle and prototype. In 2007/2008 this car was transformed by Koenigsegg into a "CCR Evolution" with the first change of exterior colouring from yellow to grey. It is unkown if this 007014-CCR respectively 007014-CCR Evolution is still owned by the company or it was sold. In 2010 the exterior look changed from a yellow car paint to matt black as well as a major upgrade by Edo Competition. Another new car paint in dark blue and new interior in black and (Lava) Orange in 2016 on time with the Koenigsegg Owner's Event. During this event this 007014-CCR Evolution was seen the last time. After the event in 2016 the trace of the car was lost.

Exterior Look:
007014-CCR left the Koenigsegg car assembly plant 2004 in a shiny yellow car paint. The front apron received a very light gray-silver-look. A few years later in 2007/2008 a transformation took place into a 007014-CCR Evolution including a new car paint in gray. Other updates were a rear wing, forged 9-spoke and polished CCX wheels. The car body received black accents instead of the standard silver accents. By the look some CCX style aero components were added as well. Later a matt black foil instead of the gray car paint gave the car a new look. After the new exterior colouring 007014-CCR Evolution was also upgraded by Edo Competition. This happened approximately in 2010 and included some foils in white and later some red accents were foiled on 007014-CCR Evolution’s body. Later the accents „Evo 817“ in red foil on the doors were removed. Additionally a charcoal paint coated the wheels and 007014-CCR Evolution’s front received some auxiliary lights. On time with the Koenigsegg Owner’s Event in 2016, 007014-CCR Evolution received another new car paint in dark blue with accents in Lava Orange.

Other Details:
As already mentioned in the category History, 007014-CCR was first seen in a brochure which was printed in February 2004 for the Geneva Motor Show in March 2004. Following the system of the VIN numbers 007014-CCR should actually not be the very first CCR documented, but surprisingly it is the very first CCR documented by Koenigsegg. 007014-CCR with the ending number 014 in its VIN number, was photographed together with 007009-CCR with the ending VIN number 009. Both CCRs have the early CCR muffler set-up which should mean that also 007009-CCR is a very early manufactured CCR, however the VIN numbers do not reflect this for some reason.

Interior Fittings:
007014-CCR’s original interior is blue and yellow after leaving the Koenigsegg car assembly plant in 2004 matching perfectly the yellow car paint. 007014-CCR changed into a „CCR Evolution“ in 2007/2008 and also changed its exterior colour into grey and the interior in black with white stitchings. A new dashboard „CCX-type“ was replacing the former one and into the center console a new system of information including a custom made pouch for the immobilizer remote system as well as a reversing camera was installed. Also a new steering wheel and steering column in carbon were added, too. Also on time with the Koenigsegg Owner’s Event in 2016, 007014-CCR Evolution received new interior and upholstery in black and Lava Orange in fine leather.

Performance Upgrade:
007014-CCR's standard engine originally offered already 806 hp and had the earlier muffler configuration with its cover in the middle. Later stiffer dampers replaced the original dampers and therefore the colours of dampers changed from yellow to red. The set-up of the twin superchargers and the modification of the ECU in order to boost the power were the main focuses of the upgrade done by Edo Competition (approximately in 2010), together with a change of the drive ratio which allowed the engine to reach the torque peak earlier. The result was an increased drivability. The limit of rotations per minute was lowered from 7.600 rpm to 7.200 rpm in order to ensure a long lasting reliability of the engine. The plastic bushings of the six speed gearbox were enhanced with uniball units. Approximately 85 horsepower were added to the original 806 hp engine and resulted in a total power output of approximately 891 hp.
