007227 arrived in April 2022 at the exclusive Koenigsegg® car dealership Koenigsegg® Chicago and has been displayed in their showroom Chicago, Illinois, U.S.A. During September 2022 until May 2023, 007227 changed the coasts and the Petersen Automotive Museum had been showing „Gotham“ in their premises in Los Angeles, California to the fascinated audience. Information and photos were published on the Petersen Automotive Museum internet blog.

The name is identical to the fictional city occuring in comic books where the „Batman“ – who is dressed in black and dark blue – hunts down criminals.
