History:
007023-CCR seems to be one of very few right hand drive and Lava Orange painted Koenigsegg. Most likely 007023 is one of two CCRS which received as original car paint Lava Orange. The original car exterior colour Lava Orange was later partly covered with a foil and the car appeared in white (from the front including doors) and gray (at the back) and a wide stripe in Lava Orange between the white and gray foil, widening in the center of the bonnet towards the rear. After 007023 was seen and photographed with these three colours a new foil was applied in matt gray. Again a stripe of Lava Orange on the sides remained as „memory“ of the original car paint. Being released from the car assembly plant without a rear wing and still with its first car paint in Lava Orange, a full width rear wing was fitted to 007023 and new 9-spoke aluminium polished wheels were mounted onto the CCR. The interior colour never changed throughout all the exterior changes and remained in black fine leather with Lava Orange stitchings and seams, clear coated carbon / Kevlar® and brushed aluminum. 007023 had been spotted regularly in Great Britain.

Exterior Look:
007023-CCR received originally the famous Lava Orange car paint at the car for most of the car body and aerodynamic parts such as spoiler, side sills and rear wing in clear coated carbon / Kevlar®. Initially 007023 had not been manufactured with a Koenigsegg Rear Wing®. However still having the original exterior Lava Orange color, a rear wing with full length across the rear end was added. Besides being very popular at that time – and most likely will be again - the color Lava Orange was propably also choosen because of some special meanings from the Theory Of Colours and the Psychology Of Colours. In case of interest, please check for more information to our category ‚Other details‘. Some time later the exterior changed by foiling to white and grey, showing still some parts of the original Lava Orange car paint. After the „white and gray period“, another change had been done and the second change and third exterior look led to another foil in matt gray. However, 007023 „returned“ to Lava Orange, the original car body color. It is said that in late 2011 upgrades were done at the Koenigsegg® assembly plant and Venturi tunnels were added on each side of 007023 as well as new light gray coloured model call out badges. Also new wheels were mounted on 007023 and changed to forged 9-spoke polished aluminum CCX wheels. After the upgrades and last car body colour change, we have not received any further information about additonal changes and 007023 still runs with the original Lava Orange colour in Great Britain.

Other Details:
007023 had been on sale at the exclusive car dealership Supervettura in London, Great Britain, mentioning in its description the number 7023. As already mentioned in the category ‚Exterior Look‘ and ‚Interior Fittings‘. there are some meanings for the orange (Lava Orange) colour from the Theory Of Colours and the Psychology Of Colours: enjoyment of life, curiosity and creativity. Orange symbolises also a positive attitude towards life, also adventure and readiness to assume risk. Reflecting on the Koenigsegg? And maybe also on the driver?

Interior Fittings:
007023-CCR’s interior is predominantly black and overall fine leather was used for the interior and looks very much alike 007019-CCR. However, easy to differentiate: 007023’s driver position is on the right and 007019’s driver position is on the left. All other CCRs with a Lava Orange exterior have mainly two colours in the passenger compartment which are Lava Orange and black. 007023-CCR’s steering wheel is completely black like the steering wheel of 007020-CCR and 007019-CCR. The dashboard of 007023 is black as well as the round framing of the dashboard instruments like speedometer and rotational-speed sensor, etcetera, but the background of these instruments has a silver-colour-look. Aluminum and also in a silver-colour-look are the surrounding frames of the four air-outlets, the control panel which looks like a „dial-phone“, and other control buttons below the „dial-phone“ as well as the gearshift on the otherwise black center console. 007023’s seats and stabilizing edges of the seating areas and stabilizing edges of the backrests are finished in clear carbon and not in black leather like the 007019. But fine black leather is used for the seating areas and backrest of the seats with diamond shaped Lava Orange stitchings on the seats‘ seating areas. The headrests is finished in black fine leather as well – as information received, however we cannot provide a photo for this detail nor for the back panel, which looks to be black as available photos suggest. Lava Orange hem seams are separating the black leather areas on the seats and stabilizing seat edges. Same applies to the dashboard and center console and black leather parts on the A-pillars. The door frames are black and centers of the doors. There are Lava Orange seams at the doors of 007023 which are missing in 007019. All in all, 007023 has lesser Lava Orange in the interior, just like 007019 in comparision to other CCRs. In case of interest, please refer to our category ‚Other Details‘ and the Theory Of Colours and the Psychology Of Colours.

Performance Upgrade:
The standard engine was fitted into 007023-CCR at its beginning however upgrades were initiated later like a rear exhaust outlet like the ones for the CCX car model. The look of the engine changed, an aluminium cap for the coolant water made it look much better.
