History:
007026-CCR was presented for the first time at the Australian International Motorshow in Sydney, 2004. For quite a period of time 007026-CCR stayed on the continent and participated in several events, for example at the exotic car show Murray Walker’s Extreme Machines in 2008, that show that attended the 2008 Clipsal 500 in Adelaide. At that time and participation 007026-CCR had a crash and a smaller fire in the engine compartment which was probably underestimated. After this incident 007026-CCR was not seen for some time. But in 2011 007026-CCR left the Koenigsegg car assembly plant in Sweden, just in time to attend the Mequiar’s MotorEx in Sydney (2011).

Exterior Look:
007026-CCR`s car body received a high-gloss coat of varnish in Black (could be a shiny shade of ‚True Black‘) accompanied by a matt silver tinted carbon / Kevlar® for the front splitter. The original five-hole-rims were later replaced by nine-spoke-rims and polished aluminum wheels from the slightly later model CCX; with burgundy-coloured calipers shining through the spokes.

Other Details:
There is a justified conjecture that 007025-CCR was developed from 007003-CC8S. In June, 2004 was the last time 007003-CC8S was seen and never showed up again. 007026-CCR was seen the first time in September, 2004. One history end which is the one from 007003-CC8S and another history begins which is the one from 007026-CCR. Considering the following aspects 1. – 3. to the above mentioned „timing“ of two histories, it makes at least sense that the conjecture is correct because 007026-CCR has the very same features which were fitted into the previous car model CC8S: 1. two air conditioning air outlets positioned on the center console only instead of a total of four air outlets for CCRs; 2. 007026-CCR’s demisting ventilation system air outlets are three round openings. The usual CCR demisting ventilation system air outlets are not only three but multiple ventilation slots. Three round openings were only installed into CC8S car models and not into CCR car models; 3. The exact match of the interior colours and even a car radio which was used for 007003-CC8S.

Interior Fittings:
007026-CCR’s interior is a beautifully matching burgundy red and black to the high-gloss black exterior. Rather uncommon for a CCR are only two air-condition air outlets which are positioned on the center consule. CCRs usually have two more air outlets which are positioned to the very left and very right. Having only two air outlets allows the idea that 007026-CCR could have been a CC8S model and later upgraded to a CCR… Or a custom made CCR since the owner did not want to have additional air outlets at the sides for ventilation purposes… But why would anybody do without two additional air outlets except for an esthetic issue? Please see also the category Other details.

Performance Upgrade:
The original CCR engine was installed into 007025-CCR with a set-up of the muffler as the set-ups of mufflers in 007009-CCR and 007014-CCR. The brackets of these muffler set-ups is different and accentuate the mufflers more than in most other CCRs.
