History:
007030-CCX is the very first CCX built and was a development and press car to show to the public in the whole world as well as in the U.S.A. With a construction year 2006, more or less exactly ten years passed after the first presentation in 1996 of the first prototype. The X is the Roman way of writing the number 10. CC is the abbreviation for Competition Coupe. Therefore CCX means Competition Coupe Ten. During the Geneva Motor Show in May 2006, 007030-CCX was presented to the public and also had an appearance at the TV show Top Gear. At first the well known Top Gear Stig lost control driving 007030-CCX and it was suggested that more downforce was needed in order to get all the power to the road. Within shortest time - 3 weeks only - a rear wing was attached to 007030-CCX and was back on track and broke the world record driving a lap in 1 minute and 17.6 seconds. The rear wing was called since then Top Gear Rear Wing. 007030-CCX was tested by the Autocar Magazine for their issue published on June 7th, 2006. During later days of June 2006 007030-CCX went to Iceland for an amazing photo session with Thorvaldur rn Kristmundsson and was presented to the audience at the Laugardalshll Car Show. Only seven days later 007030-CCX was seen at Le Mans where the traditional parade lap was joined and the crowd cheered the Koenigsegg. 007030-CCX was tested and photographed by several press members including Ian Kuah during the summer of 2006; Ian Kuah had its footage published in several media. 007030-CCX was used by Koenigsegg as testing car and these test took place also on the german Nrburgring. At the time of testing on the Nrburgring a factory license plate was used which was also seen on 007031-CCX. 007030-CCX was presented to the public during the 2006 British International Motor Show in London. The official Koenigsegg representative for the United Kingdom at that time took responsibility for the presentation to the audience. Right after the display during the 2006 British International Motor Show 007030-CCX was transported by air in August 2006 to the U.S.A. to participate in the movie Redline for which 007030-CCX changed from the original high-gloss grey car paint into a yellow Koenigsegg however the yellow was only temporary paint (or foil?). 007030-CCX made its debut at the Exotic Cars dealership at the Caesars Palace in Las Vegas on August 27th, 2006, after the shooting for the Redline movie. During some days after the debut, 007030-CCX was test-driven by several members of the press on the Las Vegas Motor Speedway. Within the members of the press was also a journalist of Car And Driver. During 2006 in Dubai 007030-CCX was introduced to the United Arabian Emirates by TONIC, the official head agency for Koenigsegg for the Middle East and Africa at the time. 007030-CCX returned in January 2007 to the Koenigsegg manufacturing plant and has fullfilled its task to draw attention to various interested persons, of which many turned into customers, ordering the CCXs. Only a few appearances of 007030-CCX were observed however still test-driven by journalist, for example from the Car Magazine during the early months of 2007. 007030-CCX was spotted in the swedish local community Bstad in July 2007. Also in 2008 007030-CCX was not really seen but remained almost unseen. Only later in 2008 007030-CCX was spotted during a test drive on the Nrburgring with some Edition features like the forged aluminum 11-spoke rims and the famous and prominent Top Gear Rear Wing. Koenigsegg Automotive AB registered 007030-CCX as a road car on May 15th, 2009. This took place in order to turn this CCX into a factory test and development car and using 007030-CCX on regular roads for testing purposes. Many updates regarding look and performance were done on 007030-CCX like the forged 9-spoke alunimum rims, new chronograph instrument cluster and a new sequential gearbox with paddle shift. At the Bologna Motor Show in December 2009, 007030-CCX was present on the stand of the Loris Bicocchi Test Driver Academy. 007030-CCX was invisible during the years 2010 to 2012 and it can be assumed that 007030-CCX continued its existence as a test and development car. Only in 2013 007030-CCX was seen again with stickers of both doors stating Koenigsegg 7030?OFFICIAL TESTCAR. Spotted in April 2013 at the Koenigsegg manufacturing plant 007030-CCX had Agera a development engine and related components, for example gearbox and suspension. Also some One:1 engine parts were propably tested later in this CCX. Last spotted was 007030-CCX in October 2014.

Exterior Look:
007030-CCX appeared in two colours and received a high-gloss gray car paint at first. Clear coated carbon was used for the front splitter and the side sills. 007030-CCX left the Koenigsegg manufacturing plant without a rear wing, however one was added at a later stage, which was after the first Top Gear appearance. Such rear wings were called Top Gear Rear Wings and the one fitted on 007030-CCX was made in clear coated carbon, matching the above mentioned front splitter and side sills. Dymag 9-spoke wheels were fitted on 007030-CCX and badges with CCX whereas the X was in red colour were on the sides. One obvious distinguishing feature is the missing windscreen washers which helps to identify 007030-CCX. The colour changed from high-gloss gray to yellow when 007030-CCX was participating in the movie Redline. The yellow car paint was a temporary car paint. 007030-CCX underwent some minor changes: the CCX badge on each side of 007030-CCX were changed regarding the previous red X which was changed to silver; wheels were changed often and any wheel available for the CCX was at least once mounted on the car, at first Dymag 9-spoke, 5-hole Telephone Dial wheels, 11-spoke Edition style wheels, then 9-spoke Edition style wheels and also 11-spoke Dymag wheels.

Other Details:
The famous Stig from the Top Gear Show on TV managed to lap the Top Gear track in outstanding 1:17.60 and relegated the Pagani Zonda F Roadster from ist pedestal. At that time 007030-CCX was equipped with an as option available rear wing. This rear wing was then called the Top Gear Rear Wing. 007030-CCX hold the record board for almost two years with the record time and not even the Bugatti Veyron - the greatest rival since then - was not able to change the record board. Since then Koenigsegg became known throughout the world and entered the absolute league supercardom. The Guiness Book of World Records noted that the former world record was broken with the CCX as well as the outstanding time of 29.2 seconds for acceleration and braking from 0-300-0 km/h.

007030-CCX`s main interior colour is black and dark gray. These bespoke metal selector levors were engineered by Koenigsegg.
