History:
007051-CCX was completed in the first months of 2008 and exported to South Africa and displayed at the car dealership Daytona Group South Africa, responsible for the Koenigseggs sales and services. Shortly after arriving and being displayed, 007051-CCX was sold in April 2008 to the the businessman Lolly Emanuel Jackson who owned the strip club chain Teazers in South Africa. Emanuel Jackson was well known for his extravagant and glamourous way of life and his excitement and passion for exclusive supercars. Lolly Jackson parked 007051-CCX next to his Pagani Zonda S. (wrapped in black and orange foil) and many other exclusive cars of his private collection. 007051-CCX was seen regularly in many car shows and events in the Johannesburg area as well as on the famous Kyalami Race Track, which was usually hired for some hours by Jackson so that he himself and his good friends could take their exclusive cars for some weekly get-togethers and racing their cars around the track. Early November 2008 007051-CCX was participating at the Johannesburg International Motor Show where also 007058-CCX had its debut. Also 007060-CCXR was seen at the show. Emanuel Jackson ordered a photo shooting for an official Teazers calender for 2010 and 007051-CCX and other cars from Emanuel Jacksons private car collection participated in this photoshoot. On the photos taken for the Teazers calender 2010, 007051-CCX appeared with a carbon rear wing with a new and sofar unknown design, but similar to the standard CCX Top Gear style wing. However similar and but maybe not the original Koenigsegg rear wing. 2010 turned out to be a bad year for Emaunel Jackson who was shot dead on May 3rd. Jackson`s death followed an investigation not only by the police but also by the South African Revenue Service (SARS) who impounded 007051-CCX for money owned in back taxes by Jacksons business. In August 2010 a towing and flatbed truck was seen taking 007051-CCX into custody by SARS and was not seen again until March 2013. Consolidated Classic Cars listed 007051-CCX for an auction which took place in March 2013. It seemed that 007051-CCX was bought for South-African-Rand (ZAR) 6.600.000. But only seemed Whatever happened, the auctioneer Vans listed 007051-CCX for an auction in November 2014 together with several other, before confiscated exclusive cars from Lolly Emanuel Jacksons car collection. All these cars were suppose to be sold on behalf of SARS. Again something did not work out and also the second auction was called off and in March 2015 another auction was finally successful and 007051-CCX was sold with 7752 kilometers on the odometer at ZAR 5.000.000. Considering the average exchange rate for March 2015, this amount of ZAR equated with approximately USD 400.000 - propably the very best bargain for a Koenigsegg in history and future for an undamaged Koenigsegg.

Exterior Look:
007051-CCXs high performance carbon fiber / Kevlar body received the famous Lava Orange car paint in high-gloss coat of varnish. Quite a few, other Koenigseggs were painted in other and different colours and the last Koenigsegg painted in Lava Orange before 007051-CCX and his predecessor 007050-CCX left the factory, was 007036-CCX. 007051-CCX and 007051-CCX not only have the exterior car paint Lava Orange in common but also the drivers position on the right hand side. Next to high-gloss Lava Orange car paint very few parts of 007051-CCX are finished in high-gloss black tinted clear carbon like the front splitter and the side sills. 007051-CCX rearview mirrors were finished in Lava Orange and not like the rearview mirrors on 007050-CCX which were finished in black tinted carbon. Dark silver five-hole-telephone-dial-wheels with center locking were mounted onto 007051-CCX and not 11-spoke wheels as his predecessor 007050-CCX. Originally 007051-CCX did not have a rear wing leaving the Koenigsegg car assembly plant. In contrary to 007050-CCX, a rear wing - actually smaller than the usual Koenigsegg rear wings - was added to the rear in 2010. There were rumors that the rear wing attached is not an original Koenigsegg rear wing. Light silver tinted carbon is used for the framing of the Venturi tunnel outlets at the rear which are placed at the right and left side of the licence plate holder. Underneath the rectancle licence plate holder with a frame painted in the same light silver colour, follows the rear bumper painted in Lava Orange high-gloss coat of varnish. Below the bumper a trapezoidal exhaust tailpipe is located in the very center with a very wide, silver coloured frame which is a protection of the rear body from the exhaust fumes coming from the impressive engine. Model call out panels at both sides are in the same light silver tinted carbon with the model name in a slightly darker version than the light silver and complete the classical and sporty look combined with a orange colour and ist meanings from the Theory Of Colours and the Psychology Of Colours. Other Details:
After the killing of Emanuel Jackson the musician and well known TV celebrity DuPreez Strauss wrote a song about Jackson and his Koenigsegg 007051-CCX. The official video can be seen at youtube. As already mentioned in the category Exterior look there are some meanings for the orange colour from the Theory Of Colours and/or the Psychology Of Colours: enjoyment of life, curiosity and creativity. Orange symbolises also a positive attitude towards life, also adventure and readiness to assume risk. Reflecting on the Koenigsegg? And maybe also on the driver? In this case, for sure on the driver!

Interior Fittings:
007051-CCXs interior is dominately fine (Lava) Orange Alcantara and fine, black leather. The proportions of colours and materials are well balanced. 007051-CCXs dashboard is finished in black leather, just like its predecessor 007050-CCX. 007051-CCXs colour for the center console and leading to the center of seats is (Lava) Orange, which is an obvious difference to 007050-CCXs center console which is finished in black. 007051-CCXs interior view of the door frames is black and the door centers in (Lava) Orange and also the interior view of the A-pillars is black. 007050-CCX is finished the same way. 007051-CCXs round framing of the dashboard instruments like speedometer and rotational-speed sensor is finished in black leather, just like its predecessor 007050-CCX. Comparing the seats of 007051-CCX with the seats of 007050-CCX, the differences are as obvious as for the center console. 007051-CCXs seating areas - except the very front, which is black, without stitchings - and the lower backrest are finished in (Lava) Orange coloured Alcantara with diamond shaped stitchings. 007051-CCXs stabilizing edges of the complete backrest is mainly in (Lava) Orange with black leather accents whereby the stabilizing edges in 007050-CCX are mainly black with (Lava) Orange accents. The seats of 007051-CCX are much more dominant regarding the (Lava) Orange upholstery than in 007050-CCX which includes the usage of (Lava) Orange also for the stabilizing edges - at least for the most part. But finished in black leather are the very upper area of the backrest and the complete headrests of 007051-CCX. The back panels upholstery of 007051-CCX is made of (Lava) Orange coloured Alcantara with the typical diamond shaped stitchings and also with (Lava) Orange seams. The very same applies to 007050-CCX. 007051-CCXs ceiling is also finished in (Lava) Orange Alcantara with diamond shaped stitchings and (Lava) Orange seams. The steering wheel of 007051-CCX is completely black and the same is the steering wheel of 007050-CCX, both are finished in black leather. Aluminum and therefore in a silver-colour-look are the surrounding frames of the four air outlets, the control panel which looks like a dial phone, and other buttons below the dial phone as well as the gearshift of 007051-CCX. Black tinted carbon is used for the bodies of the air outlets and some other parts on the dashboard and console. Also these details are alike in 007050-CCX.
