Most of ist time and the time in the U.S.A. 007061-CCX-Edition spent in Arizona but was never officially registered. Model call-out panels on each side of the car show merely the Koenigsegg crest which is a feature unique to Edition models. 11-spoke silver clear coated wheels were mounted on 007058-CCX-Edition and as an U.S. specification car it carries the red rear side marker lights.

007061-CCX-Edition`s VIN number uses a different format compared to other Koenigseggs built in 2008 and with U.S. specification. The format used with 007061-CCX-Edition is typically for cars for the E.U. market which is also additionally indicating only one airbag. But 007061-CCX-Edition has two airbags and therefore one could assume that the VIN was assigned before Koenigsegg knew that 007061-CCX-Edition was manufactured fort he U.S. market and with U.S. specification.
