History:
007062-CCXRs first presentation took place in 2009 at the New York International Auto Show. The car dealer Universal Autosports exhibited 007062-CCXR as the only Koenigsegg car ever dealt by them. 007062-CCXR was spotted at several occaisons in New York while being for sale. One of these occasions was the 2009 Bullrun, a rather underground rally and not really famous by U.S. officials. During the last quarter of 2009, 007062-CCXR was sold and Florida was the new destination, where also seen together with one of the U.S. Trevitas. Lamborghini of Miami had 007062-CCXR on their sales list during the last quarter of 2014. Again for sale in the first half year of 2015 at the car dealership Fusion Motors, together with OE-007075-CCXR Trevita. During August 2005 a new garage for 007062-CCXR was found near Chicago. Again sold in 2017, Texas was the new destination.

Exterior Look:
007062-CCXRs high performance carbon fiber / Kevlar body received as original car paint an almost complete black high-gloss coat of varnish. At the lower body parts as well as on the front spoiler are red accents. The Top Gear rear wing is finished also in black high-gloss varnish and the front spoiler and the side sills. Last two have red accents at the lower body. Red tinted carbon is used for the rear center section and framing of the Venturi tunnel outlets at the rear which are placed at the right and left side of the licence plate holder. Underneath the rectancle licence plate holder with a red coloured frame, follows the rear bumper painted in black high-gloss coat of varnish. Below the bumper a trapezoidal exhaust tailpipe is located in the very center, also with a very wide, silver coloured frame which is a protection of the rear body from the exhaust fumes coming from the powerful engine. 11-spoke and high polished silver wheels were mounted originally on 007062-CCXR during the presentation during the New York International Auto Show but later replaced with nine-spoke Dymag wheels. Model call out panels at both sides are in red tinted carbon with the model name in a lighter silver colour completing the exceptional and sporty look of 007062-CCXR. Having moved to Florida, the R changed from lighter silver colour to a green R which means that the engine was modified to the cleaner type of engine.

Other Details:
007062-CCXR showed up at the 2009 Bullrun in New York with the famous celebrity Kim Kardashian sitting at the drivers side. It is very likely that she did not drive the Koenigsegg at the rallye herself, but had a seat for the press. The Bullrun rallye is rather controversial and considered an underground rallye. U.S. official are very sceptical if U.S. traffic regulations are followed during the rallye at all times. The Bullrun was set up by two British who moved to the U.S.A to set up this ralley. With great success, since also a TV show was produced with the content and live moments of the rallye.

Interior Fittings:
007062-CCXRs interior is predominatly finished in a fine, bright red leather, second colour is black and a mix of black Alcantara and black tinted carbon. The complete seats are finished in red, fine leather with diamond shaped red stitchings and seams. The ceiling and the back panel are finished in the very same bright red, fine leather and also have diamond shaped stitichings and seams. The top of the dashboard at the passengers and drivers side is finished in fine, black Alcantara. The dashboards center is done in matt black tinted carbon. Shiny black carbon coloured are the air ventilation air outlets whilst the framing is finished in aluminum. Matt black carbon is used for the center console around the aluminum parts like the radio, control buttons and the telephone-control-panel as well as the gear stick. The upper and lower parts of the doors are done in matt black carbon and the center was upholstered in bright, red leather. The A-pillars are also done in matt black carbon and just below a black Alcantara insert was placed. 007062-CCXR has a passenger airbag which is mandatory for the U.S. registration.
